History of Badrinath Temple
It is believed that Adi Shankaracharya originally established the temple. Adi Sankara is an Indian theologist and extraordinary scholar, who took Sanyas at the young age of 14. The temple has undergone. In 1803 after the Himalayan earthquake, significant damage was experienced by the temple, and was rebuilt by Jaipur’s King.
