Itinerary - Chardham Yatra by Helicopter (5 days)

Day 1 :Dehradun to Yamunotri Dham - Abode of Goddess Yamuna

Your Chardham Yatra starts from Dehradun. On your first day of Chardham Yatra by Helicopter, you will arrive at Dehradun and receive a warm welcome by our tour representative. After that you will be transferred to your allotted hotel. After refreshing yourself we will be ready for the Char Dham pilgrimage Journey. This day is the starting point of your Char Dham pilgrimage Journey. You will be dropped at Dehradun’s Sahastradhara Helipad to reach Yamunotri Dham by Helicopter. From Sahastradhara Helipad, you will reach Kharsali Helipad, located near the pious Yamunotri Dham. After reaching Kharsali Helipad, get ready for a 7km long trek to reach Yamunotri Temple, the abode of goddess Yamuna. The round trip takes around 5 hours to cover Yamunotri.

You will not get tired as there are pony and palki services to cover the long trek to Yamunotri Dham Temple. After getting the divine blessings of Goddess Yamuna you will reach Kharsali Helipad again. After that you will check in to your hotel for an overnight stay. After a physically tiring journey of Yamunotri Dham, you will embrace a comfortable stay at the hotel.

Day 2 :Yamunotri- Gangotri Dham - The Abode of the Holy Ganges

On the 3rd day of your Chardham Yatra by Helicopter we will reach Gangotri Dham. It will take around 45 minutes from the helicopter to reach Harsil Helipad. Get ready to behold one of the most beautiful places on your way to Chardham Yatra. Harsil is a scenic mountain destination of bliss. Before the darshan of Goddess Ganga, you will check in at your allotted hotel for an overnight stay. After refreshing yourself from the journey, Get straight to Gangotri Dham- the abode of the holy Ganges. Take her divine blessings. After her pious darshan you will get back to your hotel for an overnight stay. In the evening you can enjoy the scenic beauty around Gangotri Dham and capture mind-boggling sceneries of the Himalayan mountains and nearby places.

Day 3 :Gangotri Dham to Kedarnath Dham - The abode of Lord Shiva

At around 9 am in the morning you will get to Kedarnath Helipad from Harsil Helipad. The journey will take around 45 minutes and you can reach either Guptkashi, Phata, Sersi or Sitapur to reach Kedarnath Dham. You will be traveling by a government chopper which takes you safely to Kedarnath Dham.

After reaching Kedarnath Dham, complete your VIP Darshan and also enjoy and embrace the beauty and piousness of some nearby places like Bhairavnath Mandir and Gandhi sarovar etc. Later you will head back to your allotted hotel in Guptkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 4 :Kedarnath to Badrinath- Sacred Abode of Badri Vishal (Lord Vishnu)

On this day we will reach Badrinath Dham to take divine blessings from Lord Vishnu. In the morning we will head to Badrinath Helipad from Guptkashi Helipad. After a helicopter journey of 45- 50 minutes, you will check in at your allotted hotel for an overnight stay. After freshening up, you will reach Badrinath Dham for the divine darshan of Lord Vishnu. After your VIP Darshan you will get back to your hotel for a night stay. Before going back to the hotel you will explore many beautiful places in and around Badrinath Dham such as Mana Village, Bhim Pul, Vasudhara Waterfall or whatever you like, the views and experiences of which will be unforgettable forever.

Day 5 :Badrinath - Dehradun (Departure Time)

This day marks the end of your spiritual and blissful Chardham journey by Helicopter. In the morning you will head to Badrinath Helipad after breakfast where you will board the chopper to get back to Dehradun. After reaching Dehradun our representatives will drop you at your departure point.

  • Weather Preparedness: Pack warm clothes and thermal wear, even if you are traveling during the summer season.

  • Accommodation Quality: We have categorized the hotels that are present in Yamunotri and Kedarnath are simple, because of the challenges of the area; however, the Harsil and Badrinath can be classified into 3 star hotels.
  • Baggage Limit: There are limitations on each passenger, they are allowed to carry 5 kgs of baggage only. Some of the restrictions are, there could be a restriction on excess baggage.
  • Children: Children over two years of age are charged a FULL fare and there are no senior citizen fares either.
  • Weight Limits: Total passenger weight allows 420 kg and number of passengers may not exceed 6. This therefore means that right weights have to be employed in the process so as not to experience cancellation. Group Division: Initially passengers can be divided into two categories on the basis of their weights at the time of changing over helicopters at Kedarnath/Guptkashi.
  • Waiting Time: Depending on the conditions, there can be a waiting time on transfers due to the change of helicopters from 10 minutes to 3 hours.
  • No Refunds: In case of de-boarding due to wrong information about the body weight, no refunds will be given.
