Summer (April till June)

Summer is considered to be the ideal time to visit Badrinath. During May and June, summer is encountered in Badrinath. During these months the temperature ranges between 7°C to 18°C. The pleasant and moderately cool weather makes these months ideal for visiting Badrinath. This is also the peak season so you can expect the prices of accommodation to be very high.

Monsoon (July till September)

You can encounter heavy rains starting in July in Badrinath. The monsoon season ends in September. You’re not recommended to embark on the Badrinath yatra due to the chances of landslides and road blockages that may create a hindrance in your yatra. During this time the temperature hovers around 5–15°C. In September, rainfall starts to recede. Thus, tourists start visiting Badrinath again this month.

Winter (October till March)

Day 1 :Haridwar-Srinagar/Rudraprayag-Drive 170km (5 to 6 hours)
