The Day 1 of Yamunotri Yatra from Haridwar will begin with an amazing road journey from Haridwar to Barkot. Passing through beautiful en route views of high altitude, you will reach Barkot by driving 175 km. On the way, you will witness the Mussoorie, Nainbagh, Lakhamandal, and the freely flowing Yamuna river. After reaching Barkot, we shall arrange your night stay in a hotel.
In the morning, you will head towards the Jankichatti, the basecamp of Yamunotri Dham. After driving 46 Km amid the beautiful valleys of the Himalayas, you will reach Jankichatti in approximately 2 hours. From Jankichatti onwards, there is a trek of 6 Km to the Yamunotri Dham. On this 6 Km trek, you will get to see the raw, enthralling beauty of the mountains. After Yamunotri Darshan, you should trek to Jankichatti and then drive to Barkot. Today again you will stay in the majestic town Barkot.
On Day 3, you will be returning to the lovely town of Haridwar. In the morning, after breakfast, you will return to Haridwar by driving. From Barkot to Haridwar, it's about 46 km distance and you will get to stare at the mesmerising beauty of Uttarakhand on your route.
